A Automata
Privacy

Privacy policy.

What data we touch, why, and what you can do about it.

Last updated: April 22, 2026

01 — Who we are

The operator of this site.

This site is operated by AUTOMATA AI LLC, a limited liability company registered in the state of Kansas, United States. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this document.

  • Address: 17418 Jessica St, Gardner, Kansas 66030, USA
  • EIN: 33-3383598
  • Privacy contact: legal@beautomata.com

02 — What we collect

The minimum to reply and keep the site alive.

When you email us. If you contact us (for example at hello@beautomata.com) we receive your email address, the name shown by your mail client, and the content of your message.

Technical logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, temporarily logs IP addresses, browser type and requested URLs to protect the site from abuse and keep it running. We do not use these to build marketing profiles.

No analytics. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or similar tools. If that changes, we will say so here with a dated update before switching anything on.

03 — Why we use it

Reply, operate, comply.

We use the data above only to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, send you a technical proposal.
  • Keep the site secure and available.
  • Meet applicable legal, accounting and tax obligations.

Where GDPR (EU/EEA/UK) applies, our legal basis is legitimate interest (replying to an inquiry you started) or, where relevant, the consent you give by writing to us.

04 — Who we share it with

One hosting provider. That's it.

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with providers we need to operate the site, under contract, always acting as data processors:

  • Vercel Inc. (USA) — hosting, CDN and site-level technical logs.
  • The email provider that runs our @beautomata.com mailboxes, when you contact us directly.

We may also disclose data when required to do so by a binding legal request from a competent authority.

05 — International transfers

We operate from the United States.

Because we are established in the United States, any data you send us travels to and is stored in the US. If you write from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, that international transfer is carried out under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognized by applicable law.

For Latin American residents (Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Ecuador and other countries with data-protection laws), international transfers to the United States rely on the mechanisms contemplated by each jurisdiction — primarily contractual clauses, the data subject's consent, or the equivalent standards recognized by the competent national authority (ANPD in Brazil, INAI in Mexico, SIC in Colombia, AAIP in Argentina, among others).

06 — How long we keep it

What the conversation and the law require — nothing more.

  • Email inquiries — up to 24 months after the last exchange, unless there is an active business relationship.
  • Vercel technical logs — per Vercel's retention policy (typically days to weeks).
  • Contractual, accounting and tax records — for the periods required by applicable law.

07 — Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, objection.

Depending on where you live, you may exercise some or all of the following rights — under GDPR (EU/EEA/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), LGPD (Brazil), LFPDPPP (Mexico), Law 1581/2012 (Colombia), Law 25.326 (Argentina), Law 19.628 (Chile), Law 29733 (Peru), and other applicable national privacy laws:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Request its deletion.
  • Object to, or restrict, processing.
  • Request data portability.
  • Withdraw consent when consent is the legal basis.
  • Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (AEPD in Spain, ANPD in Brazil, INAI in Mexico, SIC in Colombia, AAIP in Argentina, among others).

To exercise any of these, email us at legal@beautomata.com, stating the applicable law and the right you want to exercise. We reply within 30 days at most, regardless of your jurisdiction.

08 — Cookies

We do not use non-essential cookies.

This site sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly technical cookies for security and load balancing — these are not used to profile you. If we add analytics in the future, we will say so here and enable a matching consent flow.

09 — Minors

This site is not directed at children under 16.

We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

10 — Changes

If it changes, you'll see it dated here.

We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical or scope changes. Material changes will be reflected in the Last updated date at the top of this document.

11 — Contact

One inbox, one person who answers.

Any questions about this policy or how we handle your data — email us at legal@beautomata.com.
